Future Electric Vehicles From Chrysler

Things are changing considerably in the automotive world, and they are changing quickly. In particular, brands across the world are moving forward with electric mobility options, and many of them are going all in on electric.

One such brand that is doing just that is Chrysler. While many brands focus on offering as many vehicle varieties as possible, Chrysler has been more focused on providing fewer options at a high quality. Therefore, while other brands are committing to offering an entire fleet or electric vehicle options within the next ten or so years, Chrysler has committed to doing so by 2028, just five short years from now.

As things stand now, Chrysler offers the Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid and 300. With that hybrid version of the popular minivan, electric driving capability isn’t something entirely new to Chrysler. Plus, since Chrysler currently offers just the three models, it makes sense that they are giving themselves such a short timeline to electrify those vehicles.

Will Chrysler Offer Any Gasoline Models After 2028?

All of this change may lead some to wonder if Chrysler will only offer electric vehicles in the future. So, will Chrysler have any gasoline-powered vehicles once they achieve this initiative in 2028?

It sounds like the answer to that question is “no.” By 2028, Chrysler is looking to offer only electric vehicles moving forward, and that likely means no more hybrid models either. But this should be seen as a positive step forward. After all, driving an electric vehicle means no more spending money on expensive gasoline fill-ups, no need for routine oil changes and other maintenance, and an eco-friendly driving experience.
