Stellantis is Creating a Charging Network Across North America

As more and more car consumers are switching to electric, the fact remains that not all areas can accommodate these vehicles. Unfortunately, plenty of places simply don’t have the proper equipment, resources, etc. As a result, the surrounding areas of many EV owners are in desperate need of a jumpstart. Lucky for them, help is on the way. In collaboration with six other automakers—BMW Group, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, and Mercedes-Benz Group—Stellantis is creating a charging network across North America. In doing so, all seven of these companies will soon supply current and prospective EV consumers with thousands of new charging opportunities; better yet, the resulting stations will be more convenient, accessible, and practical than ever before. As always, our team at Rairdon’s of Marysville has everything you need to know, so keep on reading below!

More Accessible, Convenient, and Practical Charging Opportunities
Over the course of this unprecedented project, the aforementioned manufacturers will work together towards a common goal – building out more than 30,000 charging stations all across North America. Additionally, specifically designed with the customer’s experience in mind, the automakers are dedicated to providing a premium product with impeccable quality.

In other words, this extensive network will consist of industry-leading reliability, high-powered charging capability, various amenities, digital integration, appealing locations, and the use of renewable energy. Finally, all EV owners will be able to use these stations, as they will offer both Combined Charging System (CCS) and North American Charging Standard (NACS) connectors.
