What Comes With the Limited Edition Jeep Freedom Package?

We may be biased here at Rairdon’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Marysville, but we think it’s fair to say that the Jeep brand is as iconically American as apple pie and baseball. From warhorses to workhorses, Jeep vehicles have been a distinct part of American history and culture, and that is surely why Jeep found it fitting to honor our U.S. military with a special salute.

In tribute to members of the U.S. military, Jeep has unveiled a limited edition Freedom package for 2023 Gladiator and Wrangler models. For every model sold, Jeep will make a $250 donation to military charities.

Freedom package models will be decked out with unique exterior enhancements, including an Oscar Mike badge on the tailgate/swing gate and LED headlights. An American flag decal runs along the side exterior, while inside, drivers will find leather-trimmed seats and black stitching. As for capability, the Freedom models are as capable as ever with the addition of steel rock rails and a winch-capable steel front bumper.

Gladiator and Wrangler Freedom Package Availability

We do have to stress that this is a limited edition package, meaning that it is available only for a limited time. We will be able to begin taking orders later this month, with delivery of these vehicles expected before Veterans Day in early November. The Freedom package is available on Sport S models, which means you can also expect a 285-horsepower engine and 4WD capability on the Wrangler. Though we are still waiting for official details on the 2023 Gladiator, current Sport S models of the Gladiator also feature a 285-horsepower engine under the hood with 4WD, while boasting a payload capacity of 1,700 lbs and towing capacity of 4,000 lbs.

The Freedom package comes at an MSRP of $3,295 for both models. Like we said, we’re still waiting on details regarding the 2023 Gladiator, but the Sport S trim of the 2023 Wrangler, with the addition of the Freedom package, comes out to a starting MSRP of $40,660. As an additional “thank you” to service members, those in the U.S. military will qualify for a $500 cash bonus when ordering Freedom edition models.
