The History of the Easter Jeep Safari

Before we dig into this year’s event, let’s take a moment to look back at the history of the Easter Jeep Safari. Trust us, this is truly one of the most spectacular gatherings of the year. Started in 1967 by the Moab Chamber of Commerce, the Easter Jeep Safari has drastically expanded and evolved over the course of the last 56 years. What began as a one-day event has transformed into a nine-day extravaganza! More specifically, it has grown to this extent because the turnout continues to increase every single year, requiring more and more time to accommodate all the Jeep lovers in attendance. Now, the Easter Jeep Safari consists of trail rides, mostly daylong trips, departing from Moab, Utah, all throughout those nine incredible days. Despite all those changes, the Saturday of Easter weekend, as known by attendees as “Big Saturday,” remains the final day and culmination of the event. Now, with all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the 2023 Easter Jeep Safari concept vehicles.
