What Is There to Do for Kids at the 2022 Detroit Auto Show?

The 2022 Detroit Auto Show is happening September 17-25, and if you’re planning to attend with your kids, then you’ll be happy to hear that there are a whole lot of activities in the works to keep them having fun. 

Everyone likes dinosaurs, especially kids, and the Detroit Auto Show is ready to meet your dino needs. The Dinosaur and Off-Road Vehicle Encounter will have on display over 80 life-like and life-size dinosaurs for visitors to check out. Some of the largest ones stand over 28 feet tall and are over 60 feet long.

Something that your kids may not be as familiar with as you are is the original foot-powered car featured in “The Flinstones,” the 1994 movie based on the beloved cartoon that debuted in 1960.

Camp Jeep, Duck Duck Jeep, Raminator and More

We’re happy to say that both Jeep and Ram wanted to get in on the phone too. Camp Jeep is not necessarily new to the auto show circuit, but it will once again make an appearance in Detroit, allowing you and the family the chance to ride along in a Jeep model that navigates turns, curves and steep inclines. 

Jeep is also getting in on the trend of “ducking.” If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a trend that started a couple of years back in which Jeep owners leave a rubber duck on other Jeep vehicles that they find on the road as a way of showing camaraderie. It also goes by the name of Duck Duck Jeep, and at the Detroit Auto Show, Jeep will have on display the largest instance of ducking ever seen, among other surprises.

The Detroit Auto Show will also have a car-crushing monster truck event, because everyone loves huge vehicles making pancakes out of little ones. Ram is getting involved with the Raminator monster truck, which will also have its own Raminator Picture Truck Experience event.
