The New Face of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler
First things first, a proper introduction is in order. After all, it’s not every day an iconic car gets a new face! That’s right, the Wrangler has received a brand-new grille for the 2024 model year. Jim Morrison, head of Jeep Brand North America, called it a “fresh take on the iconic seven-slot grille.” Personally, we love it; in fact, we think the new face of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler is fresh, refined, and downright stylish.
2024 Wrangler Rubicon is More Capable Than Ever Before
Speaking of upgrading the classics, the legendary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon—the ultimate off-road vehicle—is officially more capable than ever before! New for the 2024 model year, the Wrangler Rubicon has an available factory-installed 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, up to 100:1 crawl ratio, and a new Dana 44 HD full float solid rear axle that allows for tire upsizing by customers as well as an enhanced maximum towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.
Jeep has Built Up the 2024 Wrangler Willys
Additionally, for those who want an affordable yet optimal alternative, Jeep has built up the 2024 Wrangler Willys trim level by adding larger 33-inch tires, steel rock rails, and a standard rear-locking differential. Although the Willys model is not new, we do have a couple new Jeep Wrangler trim levels for the 2024 model year.
New Jeep Wrangler Trim Levels for 2024 Model Year
First, the Sport S 4xe is a new entry-level 4xe plug-in hybrid that is set to slot below the Willys 4xe. The Rubicon X, on the other hand, takes everything you love about the Rubicon and cranks it up to the next level. With standard 35-inch all-terrain tires, steel bumpers, beadlock-capable wheels, and an integrated off-road camera, this is easily one of the most must-have models of the 2024 Wrangler lineup.
New Features and Technology Systems for the 2024 Wrangler
Last but not least, let’s take a look at all the new features and technology systems for the 2024 Wrangler. For example, all Wrangler 4xe models can now be equipped with a 4xe PowerBox, which can send up to 30 amps of power through four 120V outlets. Of course, this is just the beginning. Our personal favorite addition for the 2024 model year is the newly standard 12.3-inch touchscreen interface.
Not only does this best-in-class interface come standard on all 2024 Wrangler models, but it also comes equipped with the Trails Offroad app loaded directly into the UConnect 5 infotainment system. As if that wasn’t enough, 62 “Badge of Honor” trails come pre-loaded in the app; plus, consumers can access more than 3,000 trail maps with a subscription plan.
